MAPDL executes instructions in order. Later lines depend on state created earlier.

MAPDL works in phases

BEGIN → /PREP7 → /SOLU → /POST1

Later you will use /POST26 to study how a quantity evolves across result sets. M00 only needs POST1.

Selection is state

APDL logic: D does not necessarily act on the whole model. It acts on the nodes selected at that moment.
